Of Fashion Financing Dilemmas + my fav vintage picks

Fashion is so accessible these days.. Online or offline, there's always entrepreneurs coming up with new lines , whether its shoes , necklaces, ruffled pieces, shirts, cosplays..everything..its there.

I love it all, i love the latest trends, i love watching those shows where they show you the do's and dont's of fashion, the fashion crimes! haha, so yeah i learn..

Have you ever been in a situation like this?

Your insecurity builds up seeing those gorgeous looking girls with the perfectly styled Victoria Beckham bob ( Hallelujah to her existence! ), the perfect ass-lifting skinny jeans XD paired with the perfect black and white Chanel inspired cardi strutting themselves on Instagram with captions like ''Gosh i cant walk in this #JimmyChoo's no more' , and there you are, dreaming of one day even at least owning a Jimmy Choo paperbag! ( yess, i collect luxury paperbags n store em for wall decors! )

Of course i wanna be like that..

But is it easy to apply in my daily life?

Being a student, i need to finance my styling dreams, but how? Saving doesn't go a long way when even fries and a cheeseburger cost a fortune , and you gotta photostat this and that for college lectures, and suddenly there you are standing holding your dream Forever 21 neon stilettos n bam! 7 dollars short of cash..

* Cries a river* * walks out of store feeling like this :

Whaddup The Vow reference (replaces 'girl' with 'shoe') .. Ohh that reminds me,  i need to spare another long depressing post about The Vow and the amount of tissue boxes i finished in just 2 hours & the volume of tears i produced that could've ended the world drought ! no, for real tho XD

Oh well, Guess i just need to wait till i receive my first pay check to go full on dressup !

Rodeo Drive, Madison Avenue! wait for me ! * daydreams*

But for now, here's my latest picks on my all time vintage looks that in my opinion could pair up with almost anything to make you look very Parisian chic yet very very casual that could take you from this to this !
 * metaphorically* Charlize Theron is always always gorgeous, no doubt!

Vintage headband alert !
High waisted shorts or even jeans are totally in, pair it with a collared blouse, either, long, short or even sleveless.. very easy vintage!

Sunnies & a satin scarf : perfect pair, if you're going for that high end classy look.  Trick : Make sure to show some skin in the neck and shoulder area so that the look doesn't look so compressed, breathe!

Turbans are totally in for almost any look.. Printed turbans work well with one colour pieces , otherwise one tone turbans works well with alomost anything. Must have! Must diy!

The perfect makeup to go retro if you're clueless : Black matte liner a.k.a the cat eyes look paired with a clean face and a touch of very red matte lipstick! My fav's are :

Benefit Cosmetic's They're Real Liner https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/product/view/theyre-real-push-up-liner
&
my personal fav, Mac red matte lipstick in Ruby Woo, or more choices in link :

Trench coats are the perfect cover up for almost anything, whether its a dress, or jeans, or skirts.. A must have to complete any look if you're in a dilemma of choosing the right type of cover up.
Florals are completely in, whether its a knee-length dress or a loose maxi, or shorts, a little floral is vintage enough.

two words : bag, shoe.
London Oxford's are a must have's.. Oxford boots also work well for that little edge.
There's no special hairband or headband to make you look vintage, the key is 'the big hair' ! If there's volume in the upper portion of your hair, its retro enough.

Totally in, most teens go for this look! Very teenage punk retro if paired with black boots , denim shorts , a white tank and a black leather cardi !

That's all folks! Have fun experimenting! :)

What's in a blog?

They say in starting a blog you need a main idea, something you love, something you're passionate about.. Well how does one decide what they're passionate about when the world has so many beautiful branches to love? Fashion, living, interiors, travelling , literature, food, coffee, movies, chick flicks!..and the list goes on and on..

Which do i choose?

I simply cant.

So here is everything..
